Rob solves economic development problems
Rob offers expertise in a wide range of urban issues relating to smart growth, which reflect his 40 years of city planning involving economic development, strategic planning and transportation. His skills rest on technical tools merged with experiences in place making. While nearly all urban challenges are unique, principals of successfully addressing them, rest on problem analysis, measurable goals, budgeting and dynamic action plans. These require subject knowledge and stakeholder interactions. From Rob’s management of high-level strategic plans, to major capital projects and urban program operations, his skills entail technical depth with robust public engagement. Past clients include: Montgomery County, Maryland for which he lead projects and programs for two decades, the World Bank, the Maryland Department of Transportation, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, and the Baltimore Council of Governments.
